WorldSkills ASEAN Competition brings together top youth talents from the ASEAN member countries to showcase their technical and vocational skills. It was initiated by an agreement among the ASEAN member countries in 1993 with a goal of setting a global standard for skills excellence in the region. Now in its 14th year, the WorldSkills ASEAN Competition will be hosted by the Philippines for the second time. Close to 300 participants from the eleven ASEAN member countries will compete in 32 skill areas ranging from technology to hospitality in six different sectors.
