Diploma in Outdoor & Adventure Learning (R33)

What You Will Learn

Channel your love for adventure towards a fulfilling and rewarding career. The Diploma in Outdoor & Adventure Learning (DOAL) transforms your passion for the outdoors into useful skills that you can utilise in the real world.

Through extensive hands-on experiences, you will be practically trained and your leadership qualities will be honed to prepare you to be an effective trainer or instructor. This programme will also equip you with the relevant people management skills and instill in you the confidence to conceptualise, plan and conduct quality outdoor learning programmes.

For outdoor enthusiasts, you will have the opportunity to experience the great outdoors overseas through internships and trips abroad to build leadership skills. You will also have the opportunity to attain certifications from reputable National Sports Associations such as the Singapore Mountaineering Federation and Singapore Canoeing Federation.

This diploma prepared me to be industry-ready with skills, knowledge and experience. It also nurtured a sense of ‘service-orientedness’ in me. It’s a great programme for students who are not just aiming for a diploma but who also yearn for personal growth.
