About the course
Get ready for the next wave of technology revolution with Artificial Intelligence (AI)! With the recent advancements in automation and smart devices, AI is no longer limited to just Hollywood special effects and has in fact become a part of our everyday life – affecting the way we live, work and play.
In this one-day introductory workshop, you will get a hands-on experience to demystify the real-life applications of AI. You will also create your own “Do-it-Yourself” (DIY) AI projects on text and vision, and put theories into practical use!
Participants are required to bring their own laptop for the hands-on practice.
Who should attend?
This course is designed for participants who are interested in an overview of Artificial Intelligence and curious to learn how it works.
Upon completion of this course, you will gain a deeper understanding and skills in the following areas:
- Fundamental of Artificial Intelligence
- Applications of AI
- Machine learning, Deep learning & Reinforcement Learning
- AI technologies demonstration and hands-on
- AI frameworks, software and hardware
- Practical text analytics using AI services
- Practical computer vision using a programming framework
Whilst no prior AI knowledge is required, some level of technical knowledge (e.g. setting up WiFi, operating systems and scripting knowledge) will be helpful for the hands-on practice.
Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance by Republic Polytechnic upon meeting 80% of the attendance.
