An effective continuous improvement programme is crucial for companies to thrive in today’s competitive environment. This unique programme has been designed to empower local companies to internalise and apply LEAN principles in their business operations.

As a participant, you will experience the course in two phases. The first part comprises a three-day training session at RP’s LEAN Model Factory which simulates a realistic operation environment. Next, you will take on an actual LEAN project at your company’s premises over eight half-day sessions facilitated by RP trainers. Upon completion, you would be ready to support your company in expediting its LEAN transformation journey.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Understand how employees’ mindset affect process workflow in an operation
  • Identify measures to eliminate waste through Value Stream Mapping
  • Demonstrate how processes can be systematically optimised for an improved productivity as well as reduction in inventory and workspace area

Who Should Attend?

Business professionals, managers, process owners, engineers or staff involved in process/productivity improvement and operational excellence.

This course is also suitable for those who are keen to plan and execute LEAN principles as well as culture.

Entry Requirement

You are expected to have basic understanding and interest in continuous improvement projects.

Certification

Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
