Go-VR Basic: VR Learning Content Creation Using 360 Cameras

In this two-day workshop participants will experience planning, shooting and editing of 360 media, and use these spherical photos and videos to create immersive learning experiences based on their context.

Modern 360 cameras capture high quality, comprehensive and unique perspectives. Participants will learn how to use these cameras to create engaging results more efficiently and effectively than with standard cameras. Various media products can be derived from the same shooting session and participants will learn how to use appropriate media platforms to make mobile, interactive and immersive experiences so that learners can access learning the way they want.

Phase 1 is a 1-day classroom session on instructional strategies, appropriate roles immersive media has in learning, hands-on with 360 cameras and typical VR headsets to create classroom content.  Phase 2 focuses on learning content implementation facilitated in a 1-day session. Mentors will be assigned to small teams and guide them through the project.
