Green Supply Chain Management

This two-day course seeks to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to implement climate positive change in their existing supply chains. In line with Singapore’s Green Plan to help organisations, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, to develop capabilities to embrace sustainability, the course will also introduce insights and tools to enable participants to build a resilient and sustainable supply chain.

The learning scope covers the entire cycle of the green supply chain process – from design to purchasing, manufacturing, distribution, and warehousing. You will also be introduced to concepts such as circularity design, life cycle analysis, lean principles, sustainable packaging, clean energy and blockchain technology with the help of case studies. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to design and manage supply chains that prioritize sustainability, reduce carbon emissions, and contribute to the overall well-being of the planet.

The course will be concluded with a learning journey to Republic Polytechnic’s Supply Chain Innovation Lab.

Green Supply Chain Management is a good introductory course which gives us an overview on the entire cycle of green supply chain processes. The lecturers, especially Sally is very resourceful and connected us with the recycling facilities industry. We also appreciate the lecturers for putting in efforts to cater the course content towards our organisation context, thus making it more meaningful for our learning.
