Academy for Continuing Education (ACE)

Jumpstart into the world of unmanned aircraft (UA) with this two-day introductory course. Apart from exploring the recreational and commercial aspects of UA in various sectors, you will be equipped with the fundamental knowledge to operate UA effectively.

This course also covers modules on general UA knowledge, air law as well as safety and operations. There will be practical sessions on flight simulators to help you develop basic flight control competencies.

In the second part of the course, you get the opportunity to fly an actual UA and practise the flight techniques learnt, while also applying the safety practices.

By signing up for this course, you will be given access to RP Unmanned Aircraft Basic Training (UABT) course. A Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) recognised UABT e-certificate will be awarded, upon completion.

Note:
Our trainers are qualified CAAS Operator Permit Holders, with five years of experience in UA flight operation, on average.

Entry Requirement

You are expected to have basic knowledge in information technology.

Certification

Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

Complete the additional RP Unmanned Aircraft Basic Training course for the CAAS recognised UABT e-certificate.
