Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) Theory Course

This two-day course prepares you for the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) Theory Test – a requirement for UAPL application.

An assessment will be conducted at the end of each module to help you apply the theoretical knowledge learnt during lessons.

Note:
This course is run by CAAS approved instructors who are existing UAPL holders, with five years of experience in UA flight operation, on average.

By the end of the course, you will be able to demonstrate and apply knowledge in the following modules:

  3. Air Law

  4. Navigation and Meteorology

  5. Human Factors

  6. Safety and Operations

Who Should Attend?

CAAS UAPL applicants who are preparing for the compulsory theory test.

Entry Requirement

You are expected to have a good command of the English language, and be at least 16 years old at the point of application.

Certification

Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
