Mobile Music Making

Want to make music on the go?

This two-day course is perfect for getting a kick start in music content development with your mobile device. You will explore the basics of composing music using popular mobile apps and use techniques such as loops, sequencing, recording, arranging and simple mixing to create music anytime, anywhere.

Learning Objectives 

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Set up and prepare iOS devices for music creation.

  • Compose and arrange music using GarageBand.

  • Perform basic MIDI edits.

  • Apply basic mixing techniques.

Who should attend?

Teachers, educators, music enthusiasts, budding songwriters and composers.

Entry Requirement

Basic mobile device operations knowledge preferred

Certification

Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance by Republic Polytechnic upon meeting 80% of the attendance.
