Academy for Continuing Education (ACE)

This one-day course aims to equip participants with knowledge and skills to perform Safe Handling, Disposal and Storage of Cleaning and Disinfection Chemicals. At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Identify the different types of disinfectants commercially available
• Familiarise with Globally Harmonised System (GHS)
• Understanding Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
• Identify Hazards and safe handling of disinfectants
• Design proper storage and disposal of disinfectants

Certification

Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
