Sustainability 101 is a 20-hour self-paced eLearning course that provides learners an overview on sustainability and its key drivers such as climate change, depletion of natural resources as well as consumer demands for a sustainable future.
Through this course, you will also acquire an understanding on sustainable development; enabling you to drive sustainability initiatives and activities for organisations or seek employment in green economy.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the three dimensions of sustainable development: economic, social, and environmental
- Discuss generic sustainability topics such as global warming, carbon footprint, population growth, and health
- Identify the Sustainable Development Goals and associated targets
- Understand Singapore’s role and effort in contributing to global sustainability
- Discuss sustainability trends such as alterative proteins, solar energy and sustainable packaging

Certification
Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
