Learning Journey @ XLC

The Enabling Masterplan 2030 (EMP2030) has outlined the vision for Singapore to be an inclusive society by 2030 through a multi-pronged approach. Strategic Theme III – Create physical and social environments that are inclusive to all including persons with disabilities (PWDs) covers two key areas in:

  1. Area 12: Inclusive Sports
  2. Area 14: Inclusive Communities

These are the themes that we aspire in our efforts to make our programmes accessible and inclusive. One such effort includes the opening of the first inclusive outdoor facilities, Xperiential Learning Centre (XLC) in Singapore in 2022.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain the different features of XLC, the first inclusive outdoor facilities in Singapore.
  2. Experience two of the inclusive activities at XLC first-hand.

Programme Outline

This course aims to offer an insight into the facilities through a guided tour and a first-hand experience within XLC so that participants will be able to evaluate possible experiential learning opportunities at XLC for all ages and abilities.

The XLC Learning Journey is also open to organisations who wish to explore possible opportunities for Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) collaborations.
