The module aims to equip students with an understanding of fish health issues and feed nutrition requirements that are relevant to aquaculture. Students will experimentally formulate feeds and critically assess their performance, while also integrating bio-security fundamentals in their experimental design. They will be introduced to common aquatic diseases in aquaculture, including disease diagnosis, control, and treatment. Students will also study concepts of nutritional and health science and understand how to apply these concepts in different life cycle stages of fishes and crustaceans.
