This module provides insight into the origin and development of embryonic and fetal life, focusing on embryogenesis and the formation and differentiation of tissues and organs. It delves into the embryonic development of the human nervous system and the physiological mechanisms behind special senses like smell, taste, and vision. 

Students will explore neural communication mechanisms, synaptic transmission, and neural plasticity, while examining nervous innervation and its pathways through the plexus and spinal nerves. They will also learn how to investigate complex neurobiological functions including speech and language comprehension, cognitive memory processes, positive reinforcement, euphoria, and sleep regulatory mechanisms. The module addresses common conditions affecting brain functions, using examples and case studies for practical understanding.
