This module develops students’ ability to apply analytical tools and quantitative techniques for data-driven decision-making. It introduces key concepts in decision analysis, process simulation, queuing theory, and the use of basic artificial intelligence for decision support. Students learn to build and apply decision models, run simulations and analyse system performance to improve efficiency. By exploring areas like decision-making under uncertainty and what-if analysis, students develop the skills to evaluate alternatives, justify recommendations and make informed decisions in complex and evolving environments.
