This module provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how digital technologies transform the delivery of hotel guest services across the entire Hotel Guest Cycle. Building on industry-standard tools such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and Task Management Systems (TMS), students gain practical experience through simulated hotel operations in a technology-enabled learning environment. They will explore how systems integration supports Reservations, Front Office, Concierge, and Housekeeping functions, enabling hotels to deliver seamless, efficient, and personalised guest experiences. By the end of the module, students will have built a strong foundation for advanced hospitality studies and will be prepared to thrive in an evolving global industry. The module emphasises the integrated roles of Reservations, Front Office, Concierge, and Housekeeping. Students gain hands-on experience with essential hospitality systems through simulated lab operations. The curriculum develops digital literacy and analytical skills by engaging students in evaluating guest service data, assessing service performance across the Hotel Guest Cycle, and exploring emerging technologies such as automation, AI-driven tools, and IoT-enabled devices.
