Interaction Design introduces students to user-centred approaches to designing digital interfaces, products, and services. The module guides students to reflect critically on which interaction design method to use, and to appreciate how effective interfaces, products and services provide users with intuitive, usable, and engaging experiences. The module teaches students to define and design interactions between users and interactive products which will accommodate and respond to user behaviour and motivation. It helps students recognise that each design should meet the task-specific needs of users in different scenarios. Students will also be cognisant that each user of an interactive product will have unique skills and abilities.
