Students learn to select appropriate colours and typefaces, use type as a design element, explore colour mixing and blending, and understand layout principles, including the grid system. The module also covers colour tonality and its limitations.
By the end of the module, students apply foundational design skills across diverse creative contexts to produce work with visual coherence and aesthetic appeal.
