For the first time, the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp was held online! More than 60 students took part in the Entrepreneurship eBootcamp via video conferencing held from 24 - 25 June 2020. Besides working in groups to refine their initial business ideas with the guidance of experienced mentors and making pitches in a Mini-Pitch Competition, the students also got the chance to hear inspirational stories from real-life entrepreneurs through the #RPEntrepreneurshipTalkSeries.
Big congratulations to the following teams who won the Mini-Pitch Competition:
Most Promising Idea Award (Team Bear, SEG) : Cheng Xiangyu, Hu Hongyuan
Best Innovation Award (Invention Kit, SEG) : Li Zhi Wei, Lim Wen Mi
Best Pitch Award (JustLearn, SEG) : Agape Sim Congyi, Kyaw Phyo Tint, Sie Zheng Xi Dixon, Xiao Yanling
Special thanks to the judges, Mr Loh June Yong (CombineSell), Ms Angela Poh (Motorist), Mr Wong Woei Luen (Hide and Seek), and Mr Leslie Sim (Republic Polytechnic), as well as mentors from School of Management and Communication for taking their time out to support the Entrepreneurship eBootcamp.
