Minor Ailments and Preventive health aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles to effectively manage minor ailments conditions that are prevalent in the community, including acute respiratory, gastrointestinal and dermatological conditions. Students will also learn about therapeutic strategies encompassing pharmacological, non-pharmacological approaches, as well as lifestyle and behavioral interventions, to address Hypertension, Diabetes and Hyperlipidemia. Students will gain insights on preventive measures and health promotion strategies to reduce the incidence of these common ailments, including immunizations and early detection programs. Through understanding the therapeutic principles behind drug use, students will be equipped with a foundation that can be applied in both healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry.
