This module seeks to expose students to the field of Social Innovation and Creativity. There are two key parts to this module. The first part will have students exposed to the different forms of social innovation that seek to address social issues in economies both locally and overseas. This will also cover the development of social innovation and how this strengthens the civil society. The second part will equip students with creativity tools and techniques that seek to enable students to define their own social innovation through the value creation process. This entails having students identify opportunities, generate ideas as well as critically evaluate their viability of ideas and innovations towards commercialisation.
