This module provides insights into the fundamental principles of successful tourism destination management and marketing. Students will learn the role of the Destination Management Organisation, the different stakeholders and how they synergise to develop tourism products to meet the needs and demands of the visitors. The key principles to ensure the competitiveness of a destination will be discussed in this module. Students will have the opportunity to explore using digital technology to curate and reposition tourism assets to improve visitor experience for identified precincts in Singapore.
