This module is designed to better prepare students for the Public Relations and Marketing Communications industry. It provides them the opportunity to work in a realistic agency environment and on assigned deliverables with industry partners relevant to Public Relations and Marketing Communications. Lessons are conducted to create a challenging environment for students to hone their skills as Public Relations and Marketing Communications practitioners while working on a wide array of projects and activities for industry clients within stipulated timelines. Through this module, students will integrate knowledge and skills learnt in previous modules, and in the guided learning and simulated work environment of the media practicum. These combined skills will enable them to produce quality work and display professional behaviours and attitudes that are expected of an entry-level public relations executive and / or marketing communications executive.
