This module introduces students to the tools, techniques, and processes used to capture and create audio-visual content for videos and digital media works.
The module emphasises hands-on learning through the use of industry-relevant media production tools and techniques, along with foundational production workflows aligned with industry standards. Students apply their skills across the three stages of production — pre-production, production, and post-production — to create professional-standard audio-visual content.
Throughout the semester, students undertake exercises and projects that reinforce classroom learning, culminating in the production of short videos that meet current industry expectations.
