Agile Project Management for Games trains students in industry-standard game development pipeline management and processes. The module covers market analysis, production methodologies, quality assurance, project scope, scheduling, and costing. Students learn how to evaluate the viability of a game project during the development cycle. The module equips students with a set of strategies for assessing a project in terms of its market goals, scope, time required, and costs. Students gain experience analysing a project plan in order to assign tasks, allocate resources, and determine a realistic timeline. Students then learn how to review a project during production to identify potential risks and suggest appropriate corrections. The module also aims to equip the students with essential knowledge to manage their Final Year Project.
