The Graphic Design Studio module develops students’ skills in graphic design through visual experimentation and concept-driven exploration that responds to creative briefs. It covers experimental design thinking, visual identity, typography, editorial and packaging layouts, and professional presentation techniques. Students learn to analyse audience needs, justify design decisions, construct and critique brand identities, and refine their work iteratively to strengthen user engagement and brand coherence.
The module culminates with portfolio development and viva voce presentations, preparing students to create persuasive design outcomes for both print and digital media, using traditional and digital tools aligned with current industry practices and emerging media landscapes.
