School of Sports, Health and Leisure (SHL)

Sports has always been the first love for Mashidayat Bin Maszeni, an RP SHL alumnus who graduated in 2014. While he was serving in the Singapore Police Force for seven years, Mashidayat persevered and successfully completed his degree in Sports Physical Education from the Singapore University of Social Sciences.

Soon after his graduation, Mashidayat made the natural transition to Sport Singapore as an Assistant Centre Manager. In this role, he leads his team to facilitate and host sports events, programmes and competitions within the sports centre. He also builds partnerships with neighbouring schools and Group Representation Constituencies (GRCs).

Mashidayat shared, “I am heartened to see how my work helps deepen the influence of sports in the community. I also take great joy in mentoring my younger staff and seeing them grow as individuals!”
