This is a short introductory course to urban agricultural technology. Participants will learn about the fundamentals of growing plants using hydroponics systems in a controlled environment.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Perform seedling, transplanting seedling and other techniques to ensure optimal plant growth condition
- Understand the various hydroponics systems and the requirements to prepare nutrient for soilless planting
- Apply artificial lighting, controlled environments and nutrient management for indoor farming

Certification
Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
