goEco Ambassador

The goEco programme is curated for professionals who are driving environmental sustainability within their companies. In the 2-day classroom training, you will be introduced to sustainability, circular economy, Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) accounting, green transition, ESG disclosure and sustainability reporting.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the driving forces behind sustainability and the evolution of sustainable development.

  • Navigate the dynamic intersection of business sustainable development, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives, Singapore Green Plan 2030, and the principles of circular economy.

  • Discuss on global warming, climate change, international climate policy trends, and explain greenhouse gas accounting methodologies.

  • Explain decarbonisation framework, Green Project Management, Green Supply Chain Management, Green Energy, and Green Loans.

  • Describe sustainability reporting principles, mandatory climate reporting in Singapore, ESG disclosure metrics, and diverse reporting standards.

 

Who should attend?

goEco is designed for forward-thinking professionals actively contributing to or initiating efforts to make their companies more environmentally sustainable, including:

  • Sustainability Coordinators

  • Project Managers and Team Leaders

  • Individuals launching sustainability initiatives within their organizations

Certification

Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
