This module aims to equip students with advanced communication and health coaching skills. It introduces students to theoretical framework and evidence- based approaches such as motivational interviewing so that they can help develop more autonomy in their clients. The module also prepares students to educate clients on chronic disease management, mental health issues, polypharmacy and coping strategies in a more engaging and compassionate manner.
