Course objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the parametric CAD workflow
  • Demonstrate ability in advanced 3D modelling such as shell, revolve, sweep, loft, and pattern
  • Experiment with sculpting or freeform modelling to create organic 3D shapes
  • Apply CAD simulation such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to a 3D model

This course will introduce participants to advanced knowledge on three-dimensional (3D) modelling, sculpting, and simulation. Participants will also get the chance to validate their CAD skills by sitting for the Autodesk Certified User (ACU) exam.
