Passenger Services Management is a module selected from the Specialist Diploma in Aviation Management and Services. It enables participants to acquire new skills or deepen relevant skills without the need to pursue a full specialist diploma. As this is a stackable course, participants may choose to complete the remaining modules, within the validity period of two years, to be awarded the full Specialist Diploma qualification.
This module provides an insight into the service quality requirements and standards in the aviation industry. Participants will be exposed to various operational procedures and processes for passenger flow management. They can also look forward to learning how to analyse performance measures to determine the best approach for an effective handling of passengers.
Through this module, participants will learn about operational brand concepts and standards in relation to the aviation industry; enabling them to improve the competitiveness of airports and airlines.
Participants will also be exposed to various technologies used by different countries to expedite passenger flow.

Entry Requirement
Applicants should possess a polytechnic diploma or degree in Engineering or Hospitality from recognised institution. Preferably, applicants should also have at least two years of relevant working experience.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least five years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
Certification
Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Completion by Republic Polytechnic upon completing the module.
