Sustainable Agriculture : Clean and Green Standard for Urban Farms

The SS 661 (Clean and Green Standard for Urban Farms - Agriculture) is a Singapore Standard promoting the adoption of sustainable practices in urban farming, while upholding food safety, and encourages the use of innovative technologies to enhance farm productivity. This 3-day course will provide participants a deeper understanding of the SS 661 requirements and know-how on implementation of SS 661 in urban farms.

Learning objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe efficient use of key resources in urban farming.

  • Apply requirements of SS 661 (Clean and Green Standard for Urban Farms - Agriculture) in vegetable farms towards certification.

Certification

Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
