Outdoor Programme for CPASS Students
Empowering Journeys: Bridging Learning and Adventure Together!
The partnership between Republic Polytechnic (RP) and Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore School (CPASS) began in 2021 when both organisations collaborated to create a 3-Year Outdoor Programme for CPASS students. Over the course of these three years, CPASS students participated in various outdoor activities facilitated by our RP staff through commissioned projects and Continuing Education & Training (CET) programmes. In 2024, the programme culminates in a series of three local service-learning projects, leading to an international service-learning trip to Australia from 4 to 10 September (20 RP students, 24 CPASS students, 2 RP staff. 24 CPASS staff). The programme has positively impacted 44 students from both organisations.
CPAS Principal (West), Mrs. Koh-Lim Ai Lay, shared her eagerness to restart the 3-year programme with RP, as she was inspired by the demonstration of our RP students managing and empowering CPASS students.
