Diploma in Sport & Exercise Science (R26)

School of Sports, Health and Leisure, Diploma in Sport & Exercise Science (R26)

What You Will Learn

Drive the science that supports the sports industry.

This diploma combines scientific principles with practical application for a good understanding of human physiology, biomechanics, sports nutrition and sports psychology. You will learn how to analyse and optimise athletic performance, prevent injuries and develop effective training programmes.

Centred on evidence-based research and practical experience, you will be equipped to thrive and create a meaningful impact in the ever-evolving realm of sports and exercise.

The learning processes and mentorship by my lecturers in DSES helped to nurture my critical thinking skills. I am an advocate for RP's problem-based learning approach, as it helps me tackle all types of academic challenges and is applicable in the real world. It was especially beneficial when I embarked on my Final Year Project (FYP) and my internship.

Melody Chiam Jiale
