What You Will Learn

Behind every successful athlete is a passionate personal trainer. Helm the forefront of elite athlete management with skills and knowledge from the Diploma in Sport Coaching (DSC).

Based around the art and science of coaching, this diploma has been designed in consultation with Sport Singapore to equip you with the basics of sports science. You will also learn essential soft skills such as communications, athletes and team management, and professional ethics.

Whether you hope to train individual athletes or teams, the DSC will enable you to build a rewarding career as a sports coach, instructor or fitness trainer.

RP’s unique problem-based learning pedagogy and its student-centric learning environment gave me the support I needed in acquiring problem-solving skills. It also shaped the way I think, honed my skills and helped me pick up valuable life lessons for the next phase of my life.

Meeting the minimum entry requirements does not guarantee that applicants will be offered a placement in the diploma programme. These requirements are set in place to ensure fairness to all applicants.

Further Studies

RP graduates are well-placed to embark on meaningful careers, immediately after graduation. They could even improve their employability by taking part-time courses or SkillsFuture Earn and Learn Programmes (ELPs).

What’s more, every RP diploma is recognised and has a pathway leading to a relevant degree with top local and overseas universities. RP graduates may complete their degrees in just over two or three years in a four-year programme.

Skills Deepening
