What You Will Learn

Be the coach behind a successful sportsman.

Designed in consultation with Sport Singapore, you will learn the rudiments of sport coaching through extensive hands-on training in this course.

Through the Diploma in Sport Coaching (DSC), you will learn the latest sports coaching techniques and applications.

Be adept in the soft skills of communications, athlete and team management and be an authority on professional ethics. The DSC will empower you as you embark on a rewarding career as a sports coach, instructor or fitness trainer.

RP’s unique problem-based learning pedagogy and its student-centric learning environment gave me the support I needed in acquiring problem-solving skills. It also shaped the way I think, honed my skills and helped me pick up valuable life lessons for the next phase of my life.

Further Studies

RP graduates are well-placed to embark on meaningful careers, immediately after graduation. They could even improve their employability by taking part-time courses or SkillsFuture Earn and Learn Programmes (ELPs).

What’s more, every RP diploma is recognised and has a pathway leading to a relevant degree with top local and overseas universities. RP graduates may complete their degrees in just over two or three years in a four-year programme.

Skills Deepening

Upon graduation, DSC students can choose to deepen their skills and knowledge in a chosen field before embarking on their career. They could either sign up for part-time courses or pursue ELPs. Please visit our lifelong learning page to find out more.
