On 2 Nov 2021, RP held the Health & Wellness Expo. This hybrid event brought together key stakeholders in the community health domain to witness and share latest trends in Pandemic and Environmental Control, Preventive and Community Health, Digital Health and Wellness in eSports. The Guest-of-Honour was Madam Rahayu Mahzam, Parliament Secretary for the Ministry of Health.
One of the Expo highlights was the official launch of RP's Health and Wellness Hub, with a simultaneous online symposium fronted by industry luminaries.
RP's Health and Wellness Hub was established in response to the Ministry of Health’s ‘3 Beyonds’ strategy and is in alignment with Singapore's Research, Innovation, Enterprise (RIE) 2025 plan. Its aim is to develop technologies, solutions and programmes that help in environmental control, improve population health, enhance quality of life and digitalise healthcare. This Hub is a one-stop portal with the following focus:
- RP’s Community Living Lab approach for community health
- Research and Development of health innovations and commercialisations with health tech industry partners
- Rich and exciting Continuing Education Training (CET) courses and programmes in Health and Wellness
