What is PFP
The Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) is a one-year programme designed for outstanding N-Level performers to prepare them for entry into full-time diploma courses. It is an alternative to sitting for the GCE O-Level examinations in Sec 5.
Under PFP, you will be given a provisional place in a diploma programme. So it is a great option if you already know which polytechnic course you want to apply for.
As a PFP student, you will enjoy a practice-oriented curriculum that will be taught by polytechnic lecturers and include preparatory modules relevant to your selected diploma, so that you:
-
Develop essential study skills for tertiary education, like independent learning and research
-
Acquire diploma-specific skills and knowledge
-
Transit smoothly to the first year of your diploma
-
Experience and adapt to poly life in advance
If you pass all your PFP modules, you will be admitted to the first year of your selected diploma course.
At RP, all our diploma courses are offered under PFP so you can be sure to find one that suits and interests you
