It is important to have a strong understanding of data and insights on communication campaigns. This is especially true as businesses are increasingly investing their resources and budget in digital media.
This module introduces various digital media analytical tools, along with their purposes. You will also learn to uncover and organise trends for insights, which can be leveraged for business planning and decision-making involving communication strategies or business operations.
The module will provide you the opportunity to explore how to analyse data from various sources, carry out extrapolation of data, and conduct evaluation on sentiment analytics. The learning scope also includes decision-making based on analytics. This covers the selection of key performance indicators and targets for campaigns as well as business operations. You will also be equipped with the competencies to monitor the effectiveness of communications strategies, assess long-term targets and come up with follow-up actions.
Digital Media Analytics is a module selected from the Diploma in Business Practice (Digital Marketing and Branding). It enables participants to acquire new skills or deepen relevant skills without the need to pursue a full diploma. As this is a stackable course, participants may choose to complete the remaining modules within the validity period, of five years, to be awarded the full Diploma qualification.
