Audiences today seek content from multiple sources. As such, media professionals must learn to communicate effectively across platforms. This module introduces a range of concepts and techniques that are useful in writing and creating content for online audiences found on digital media platforms.
You will be guided to strategically integrate digital media tools as part of the content creation process. The module also demonstrates how these tools can be employed to drive traffic and attract readers. Not only that, you will also get to explore ways in which design and storytelling can be used on digital media platforms to facilitate targeted messaging; delivering multiplied and measurable results.
The module includes hands-on learning experience where you will get to design news content as well as communication strategies for major digital platforms including web, social media, and mobile.
Digital Media Engagement Strategies is a module selected from the Diploma in Business Practice (Digital Marketing and Branding). It enables participants to acquire new skills or deepen relevant skills without the need to pursue a full diploma. As this is a stackable course, participants may choose to complete the remaining modules within the validity period, of five years, to be awarded the full Diploma qualification.
