Globally, there are 861 million Chinese-speaking internet users, accounting for 19.4% of all internet users. Singapore is an example of East meeting West. Being effectively bilingual in English and Chinese languages help to strengthen our competitiveness in the globalised business world. This course will focus on key digital content writing and technical skills for production demanded by the industry such as translations, business writing, bilingual digital content development for web, and social media. Participants will also learn about digital content production including podcasting and video storytelling. Leveraging their bilingual skills, participants will develop the competencies and creativity needed to take on content creation for multiple media platforms and regional business opportunities. This is an assignment-based course consisting of three modules. No written examination is required.

Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of digital media and be bilingual. 有意参加此课程的学员必须拥有基本的数码媒体知识与技能以及掌握中英双语的能力。
Participants will be awarded a Professional Certificate in Chinese Digital Media Content Creation issued by Republic Polytechnic upon the successful completion of all 3 modules. 完成3个指定单元的学员都会获得共和理工学院颁发的中文数码媒体内容制作与编辑专业文凭证书。
