Specifications for Good Agriculture Practice in Singapore

The SS 675 (Specification for Good Agriculture Practice) was developed as a national standard to address new market and consumer requirements, while aligning to the regional standard on Good Agriculture Practice. It is envisioned that with SS 675 certification, farms will be able to demonstrate their robust management systems to ensure food safety, and brand their produce for better market access.

This 2-day course will provide participants with appreciation of the SS 675 requirements, and know-how on SS 675 implementation in farms.

Learning objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to: 

  • Perform simple farm risk assessments to ensure safety of produce for consumption

  • Implement SS 675 (Specification for Good Agriculture Practice) requirements in urban farms towards certification

Certification

Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
