Republic Polytechnic signs MoU with Maxus Communications Singapore to nurture marketing research sector
The collaboration aims to foster local marketing research talent.
Republic Polytechnic (RP) inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with global media agency Maxus Communications Singapore yesterday to enhance skills development opportunities for students from the Diploma in Consumer Behaviour and Research (DCBR).
The partnership aims to foster higher-calibre marketing research talent for the industry by providing DCBR students with more holistic learning experiences and opportunities for deeper industry immersion.
The MOU will afford DCBR students wider exposure to the marketing research industry through joint research projects as well as industry attachments with the digital marketing and consumer behaviour research powerhouse.
According to Mr Desh Balakrishnan, managing director of Maxus Communications Singapore, the company also plans to collaborate with RP staff on diversifying and innovating new marketing research methods.
The collaboration follows the recent expansion of RP’s Market Research Lab, specifically designed and developed by DCBR staff to support curriculum-related activities and joint research and development efforts with other industry partners including L’Oréal and adidas.
