A team of Diploma in Mass Communication (DMC) alumni, Eric Teo, Basil Kwok, Cheryl Chua, Ruth Elango, and Sean Lee, emerged Champions for the Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM) “Feels Like Kampung Spirit” video competition.

“Feels like Kampung Spirit” is the inaugural video competition organised by SKM for all Singaporeans to showcase their storytelling skills and share what the Kampung Spirit means to them. Through a video, SKM hopes to gather heart-warming stories of neighbourliness in Singapore and inspire Singaporeans to look out for one another.

Entitled “Admiralty CSC: Reigniting the Kampung Spirit”, the team shares the heartwarming stories of Admiralty Community Sports Club, from its humble beginnings led and managed by volunteers to how it touches the lives of many families and generations.

Led by their mentor, Mr Chan Wai Hoe, Lecturer, Diploma in Mass Communication, the team received the award from Dr William Wan, the General Secretary of SKM on 13 May 2019.
