Three students represented Republic Polytechnic (RP) for the Singapore Model Parliament (SMP) 2023, a flagship youth programme organised by REACH, Ministry of Communications and Information. They attended policymaking workshops and engaged in dialogue with political office holders over the course of three days. On the final day of SMP, the students were grouped in a team of six, together with their counterparts from other institutes of higher learning. They then competed in a mock parliamentary debate where two of RP students attained third place. Among the winners is Rosales Sophia Marie Tadeo, a student from the Diploma in Mass Communication.
