Team DHRMP, JES was one of the five teams that represented Singapore at the regional finals which was held on 20 November 2021.
MonsoonSIM Enterprise Resource Management Competition (MERMC) is an annual inter-varsity competition hosted by MonsoonSIM in partnership with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). The competition was run for the seventh time, in 2021.
A total of 29 teams from different polytechnics participated in MERMC 2021. Students, in teams of five, ran virtual companies and competed with one another for the best performance of the day based on a set of defined key performance indicators.
Despite strong competition, Team DHRMP – JES, mentored by School of Management and Communication Lecturer, Md Farid Abd Rahim, secured the win at the Singapore finals. The students won cash prize of $1,000 and a conditional offer to SUSS full-time business programme. This team previously won third place in the same competition in 2020 and had received the conditional offer from SUSS.
They were also one of the five teams that represented Singapore at the regional finals that took place on 20 November 2021.
