Applied Digital Design

Course Synopsis 
This one-day course teaches the basic design skills in visual communication design. It covers the basic design functions with design structures and guideline that are commonly used by professional designers. This course includes hands-on experience at designing the different elements of an electronic direct mailer (EDM) and newsletter from conceptualization to distribution. Participants will learn to make use of grid layouts, colour management and design title text, to complete an EDM. Participants will also learn how to apply the skills taught for designing presentation covers and compose their own EDMs.
