Athlete Life Coaching

This 4 days programme include providing participants with knowledge of the sport development landscape.

They include the roles of the National Sports Associations (NSAs), high performance system, school sports, etc. Participants will also learn about sports-specific terminology such as athlete life coaching plan, training and competition plan, selection criteria, de-selection and major games cycles as well as the roles played by advisers and coaches to athletes.

Based on these foundation knowledge, participants will learn and practise the skills of counselling the athletes with respect to their goals for sports performance, academic pursuits, and career aspirations.

  • Sports Administrators
  • Coaches from the National Sports Associations
  • Educators and CCA leaders from schools and institutions of higher learnings
  • Executives from the public agencies who are involved in sport development
  • Executives from private enterprise in sports related business

Certification 

Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
