An inspiring coach can make all the difference in a sportsperson’s development.
The full-day ‘Values and Principles in Sports (VPS) is designed by Sport Singapore and the Ministry of Education (MOE) to help sport coaches recognise the value of sports, and in particular, the role of the coach.
A coach’s influence extends beyond the sport, imparting life skills such as problem-solving, communication, decision-making, leadership, and perseverance.
This course presents opportunities to meet other sports coaches and engage in group discussions on the various VPS topics.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to develop their own personal coaching philosophies, design sports programmes with the ‘Game of Life’ framework and leverage values and attributes in the development of a successful sports team.
