Have you ever wondered what created that scent and why it leaves you feeling relaxed or refreshed? Recreate the experience at home by learning more about essential oils and their effect on the human body!
Join us to find out the history and origins of aromatherapy, how essential oils affect the body’s systems as well as the many uses of essential oils at home.
You will also learn how to blend essential oils with carrier oils and make your own personal massage blend! In addition, you will learn the basic techniques of hand massage.
Equipped with your personal massage blend and hand massage skill, you will be ready to pamper your love ones with a nice essential oil massage by the end of this course.

Entry Requirement / 课程要求
Participants should not have no known allergy to any essential oils.
Please note that this course will be conducted in both English and Mandarin for the run on 21 August 2021. Participants should possess basic understanding and ability to converse in either of the conducting languages.
Certification / 证书
Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance by Republic Polytechnic upon meeting 80% of the attendance requirement.
Trainers' Profiles / 培训师简介
Fattimah Ally has over 18 years of experience in wellness treatments and practices training and is certified by International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) in Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Stress Management, and by the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC) in Facial Services. After working in Bhutan and Indonesia for 8 years, she returned to Singapore to join the School of Hospitality at the Republic Polytechnic as a full-time lecturer. She has a keen interest in nurturing students from all ages, from the young to the young-at-heart, to help them develop their potential and discover new skills and knowledge.
Carol Goh stepped into the world of beauty after graduating from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), embracing cosmetic brands such as Bourjois and Maybelline, where she strategised and managed the brands’ marketing, sales and profitability. To gain a more holistic view of beauty and wellness, she took up International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) Diplomas in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage as well as Aromatherapy. This led Carol to the second phase of her journey as she stepped into the fitness, spa and beauty industry, where she managed Phillip Wain, an exclusive ladies’ fitness and beauty club, helping women find wellness solutions and lead a healthier lifestyle. Carol entered teaching at Republic Polytechnic as a full-time lecturer to share her knowledge in spa therapies, wellness business operations, and customer service.
自南洋理工大学毕业后，吴淑利投身于美妆界，分别在知名品牌 Bourjois 与美宝莲担任过要职，负责拟定产品营销策略以及管理品牌的销售业绩。为了更全面的了解美妆与保健行业，她也在职进修并取得了英国 ITEC 文凭，专研人体生理学、按摩以及香薰疗法的专业知识。专业文凭毕业后，淑利加入了健体、水疗与美容行业，负责管理菲力伟健美集团旗下的女性专属健美会所，帮助女性通过运动与美疗找到健康与自信，也开启了职业生涯的第二阶段。现今，淑利是共和理工学院的全职讲师，教导与分享她在相关行业的技术与经验，包括了水疗按摩，保健美疗中心的营运作业以及客户服务。
